Sheriff Guy insists on excellence, which is why he removed the culture of nepotism from the Sheriff’s Office. Tony created a protocol for promotions within the department and ensuring Beaver County deputies earn positions based on merit not politics.

For the first time ever, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office established a standardized hiring process. Now, Sheriff deputies are hired based on integrity and qualifications, thanks to Tony’s leadership.

Sheriff Guy cut the automotive fleet just like he said he would. Then, Tony used the money from auctioned off vehicles and reduced maintenance costs to offset his budget. Tony’s resourcefulness & extensive management experience paid off for Beaver County in a big way.

Beaver County finally has a Policy & Procedure Manual that is in line with the U.S. Constitution, PA Constitution, and current case law. Now, Beaver County taxpayers will benefit from reduced legal liabilities and a professionalized Sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Guy obtained multiple state grants to replace outdated screening and
safety equipment. Today, County employees —and the public—have a more secure courthouse.

Tony secured grants for state-of-the-art tasers and body cameras, providing the
ongoing benefits of:

Tony secured two grants from the Roethlisberger Foundation to enhance and sustain the Sheriff’s K-9 program to better assist local police departments and fight the opioid epidemic.
